While T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon and AT&T are offering pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, other carrier companies like Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile have announced that they are selling the new smartphones to customers on Mar. 11.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will bring some notable upgrades and positive reviews as compared to last year?s Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge now has an expansion slot.
Currently, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are available for pre-orders from AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint. Tech Times reports that several customers have already received the device from T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T well ahead of Samsung’s official Mar. 11 global release.
Meanwhile, two more mobile carriers have announced the sale of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge units on their networks. Boost Mobile to roll out the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on Mar. 11, whereas Virgin Mobile, will organize a sale on Mar. 18.
GSM Arena notes that the Galaxy S7 sports a 5.1-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad HD Super AMOLED display. Similarly, the S7 Edge also have the same display but has a larger display screen of 5.5-inch that features unique dual-curved Edge. Both handsets have premium glass and metal build and powered by Qualcomm snapdragon SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. The device supports microSD card and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Both devices are water and dust resistant.
