Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime SM-G906S Leaks in Samsung Documents and GFXBench Test; 6 Specs Unveiled by Benchmarking Tool

Early reports revealed that Samsung will unveil another smartphone in June and rumours point that it is called Galaxy S5 Prime. SM-G906S has been found in the official Samsung documents and also in GFXBench which detailed some important specs of the suspecting Galaxy S5 Prime.

Samsung Documents

According to the Find My Mobile Web site of Samsung, a Galaxy S5 variant supports the service and it is SM-G906S. It allows the same activation of ?remote controls? to lock, locate, ring, wipe and unlock the screen of the smartphone. Interestingly, Samsung did not remove the model variant on the site that recently appeared on the GFXBench Web site which means, it could be a new smartphone coming out this June.

GFXBench Manifestation

SM-G906S is not new in terms of exposure and seems like keeping it a secret wasn?t the exact plan. SamMobile grabbed the details of the alleged Galaxy S5 Prime smartphone which leaked in GFXBench official Web site.

Unlike with other SM-G900* Galaxy S5 models, SM-G906S features a lot more power than what people are going to buy in the market.

Obviously, SM-G906S boast more power with an upgraded processor set, virtual memory and graphics processing unit. Moreover, its display screen is a bit larger and holds higher resolution for more immersive viewing, unlike with other Galaxy S5 variant found.

GFXBench has removed the entry regarding the SM-G906S, indicating early testing of the device. It may also mean that Samsung could release a variant which features their new Exynos octa-core processor in addition to Qualcomm?s Snapdragon 805.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime is reported as a part of the Project KQ, expected to be released on the second quarter of the year, and a possible match to the upcoming G3 smartphone from the company?s arch rival, LG.
