Samsung announced at CES last month that it will have a new tablet released just in time for the Valentine?s Day. The company is actually talking about this massive 12.2 ? inch Samsung Galaxy Note Pro tablet that offers the same S ? Pen features in Note devices. However, this one comes with a bigger screen.

Still the Unofficial Price ? Samsung

This new tablet has a lot to offer, especially for professionals. According to Engadget, it will also come at a steep price. Retailers in the United States have already listed this model as available on February 13th. It is rumored to be sold at a shocking $850 price point.

Do not react yet as Samsung has yet to announce the official pricing, pre ? ordering and release date of this tablet. The information circulating the community right now is not guaranteed accurate and people can still hope for changes, especially with its pricing. In case this becomes the new Galaxy Note Pro?s market price, then it will surely beat Apple?s iPad Air.

More Expensive than Apple?s iPad Air

The item being spotted is the 64 ? gigabyte Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. It is said to offer plenty of storage space and will run on Android KitKat 4.4.2 with a 12.2 ? inch tablet. Apple?s 64 ? gigabyte iPad Air only costs $699. Even when purchased with 4G LTE at $829, it will still be cheaper than the rumored price point of the new Galaxy Note. The Office Depot will ship the new Note Pro before Valentine?s Day, but Samsung has not yet released any pricing details to the public or even its partner carriers.

There are multiple reports saying that Verizon is one of the U.S carriers to offer the new Samsung tablet. One thing is for sure: the model shown to be unofficially priced at $850 does not include 4G LTE. This only means that the pricing is just a placeholder and could change once Samsung has revealed the product details.

Impressive, but Steep

It was surprising that Samsung increased the price of the new Galaxy Note Pro by that much. The 2014 Galaxy Note 10.1 is only over $300 less. However, fans of the smartphone and tablet maker can expect a 2560 x 1600 resolution on the 12.2 ? inch screen display. The new Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will run on Android KitKat that comes with a new magazine ? type interface and longer battery life.
