Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Release Pushed Back In August 2017; Here’s Why

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 release is likely to happen in August 2017. Samsung is looking into an August launch in order to get more attention in the handset market.

Apple will release its iPhone 8 some time during the second week of September 2017. Samsung wants to bring out the Galaxy Note 8 before the entry of iPhone 8. Galaxy Note 8 will be available for purchase ahead of the Internationale Funkausstellung 2017 (IFA). The IFA is scheduled to take place between September 1 to September 6, 2017, iDigitalTimes.

Samsung fans will not be surprised if the brand will release the next flagship device in August 2017. This is due to Samsung having launched the Galaxy Note 5 in August 2015 and the Galaxy Note 7 in August 2016.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Features And Price

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 did not earn the expected profit. The brand is having high hopes on the Galaxy Note 8. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will pack a folding dual display. The device will carry two displays at the front and back. Before adding a dual display to the Galaxy Note 8, Samsung wants to experiment the same feature on other devices. ?Samsung will eliminate S voice system and include a new technology, which is based on artificial intelligence, according to International Business Times.

The Galaxy Note 8 will be powered by Qualcomm?s Snapdragon 835 SoC based on 10nm process. However, only US buyers will get this particular variant. In the remaining countries, Samsung will release Galaxy Note 8 with Exynos 8895 processor paired with 6GB of RAM.

Galaxy Note 8 will carry a 4,200mAh battery with fast charging and wireless fast charging features, according to BGR. It will include connectivity options like 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. The phone will also pack an optical fingerprint sensor, an iris scanner, water and dust resistance and heart rate sensor. It will run Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.

The phone is expected to feature a dual-camera setup. Samsung will also use Snapdragon?s clear sight technology. There will be a 16-megapixel camera with RGB (color) sensor and 8-megapixel camera with a monochrome sensor. The user will also find an autofocus feature.
