The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be launched early next month and many smartphone fans are already excited about it. The Note 7 is poised to be the ?phablet? to beat in the market, considering that rumors have surfaced regarding the excellent specs that it will have. The latest rumor about the Galaxy Note 7 is certainly very exciting as news has revealed that the upcoming smartphone could come with the latest version of Android pre-installed.

According to GSMArena, Samsung is reportedly testing the Galaxy Note 7 prototypes which are running on Android 7.0 via the Geekbench benchmark test. Android 7.0 has not yet officially released but it has recently been confirmed to have a codename Nougat. This is certainly going to be great news for fans of the Galaxy Note product line. While Android 6.0 Marshmallow would be an okay alternative, tech junkies are crossing their fingers that the latest version of the Android OS would make its debut with the Note 7.

Phone Arena has mentioned that the Galaxy Note 7 could feature a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1440×2560 resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 chipset and 6GB of RAM together with a base internal storage of 64GB. It may also come with a 12-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Add to this impressive list the fact that it could run on Android 7.0 Nougat then it will surely be one of the best smartphones of the year hands down.
