There is no doubt that Samsung is one the best mobile phone maker in the world. Samsung?s Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 5 are attracting customers like nothing else. Now, the Korean tech giant is supposed to be working on its upcoming Galaxy Note 7. The company will skip Galaxy Note 6 to launch Note 7 as a rival of Apple?s iPhone 7 Plus.
Rumors suggest that the device will be launched in the first half of August and is expected to cost $880 approximately.
There were rumors that Galaxy Note 7 will be available in two variants with different processors. Latest reports indicate that Samsung will launch only one model with Exynos 8890 chipset. A massive 6GB RAM and 256GB internal memory will be there. So it is quite clear that hardware is configured to provide superb performance.
According to GSMArena, the device will feature 5.8-inch Super AMOLED curved display with QHD resolution. An always-on display is obvious as the company has already implemented this technology in the Galaxy S7. The Corning Gorilla Glass 4 might be there as well.
It is uncertain, but a 12MP camera with Super OIS Plus is likely to be there. There are also rumors about having a 20MP camera, but it seems Samsung will stick to 12MP, similar to the one in Galaxy S7.
Samsung Note 5 has a 3000mAh battery. Now, as everything is upgraded, the battery will also be big. The Note 7 is supposed to be powered by a 4000mAh battery.
The device will be waterproof and dustproof with IP68 certification. Moreover, S Pen stylus could be included in the package.
These specs are based on the rumors on the internet and the actual device could be different in terms of hardware and design. Price could be different for different countries.
