The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been the subject of a lot of rumors lately. The next flagship smartphone from Samsung is expected to be launched possibly in August. If the recent leak is indeed true, then Galaxy Note fans may be in luck as it has been reported that there will be ?exciting changes? in its next smartphone.
According to Forbes, several new features have been confirmed by well-known leaker Evan Blass. Blass sent several tweets on his @evleaks Twitter account that the rumored iris scanner feature is confirmed for the Galaxy Note 7. Yes, it looks like we will finally have a smartphone that can be unlocked simply by looking at it. Not a lot of details are known yet regarding the specifications of the iris scanner as well as how it would work. Surely, more leaks will reveal that in the coming weeks.
Another feature mentioned by Blass to be confirmed for the Note 7 is that it will be IP68 water resistant. This is a completely new feature for the Galaxy Note smartphone line.
