Samsung is not planning to put on the brakes any time soon in its quest to remain the number one android phone brand. The International Business Times (IBT) reports that Samsung plans to start mass production of its upcoming device dubbed as the Galaxy Note 7 aka Galaxy Note 6 as its release date is drawing close. Many consumers are already eager to finally get their hands on the highly anticipated device.
The next question is when ?will this phone be released? According to a report from ET News, Samsung is planning to make 5 million units of the Galaxy Note 7 in order to meet the initial demand for the phone. Aside from the initial supply, it is reported that 2.5 million units will be produced in July and another 2.5 million will be made in August.
With this it can be fairly assumed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be released in the third quarter of this year. There have been rumors that the device will be released on August 2 although this has not been confirmed.
Samsung is set to become the most consistent android company when it comes to radical changes since no two android phones are exactly alike. The Galaxy Note 7 will have ?a 5.8-inch display with 2,560×1,440 pixels, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 823 processor, comes packed with a 64GB/128GB internal memory and a 10 nanometer 6GB RAM, and has a 4,000mAh battery, according to the same IBT report.
What some consumers are waiting for is the ever controversial iris scanner feature. A Retina or Iris scanner is the latest alternative to fingerprint technology and has not yet found its way to smartphones just yet. Simply looking at the phone will unlock it, once it scans and confirms a user’s Retina or Iris. GottabeMobile reports that Samsung is working on this brand new technology for smartphones.
Samsung is leading the path by leaps and bound and we do not know if the other competitors can catch up or will simply drop out. Be sure to check back here to find out more about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 as well as other great smartphones expected to be released soon.
