The rumored Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) handset?s specifications have been tipped via Kernel source. The source divulges that the device will sport full HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution display, a 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP front facing camera which will have Samsung?s S5K5E3YX sensor, 1.1um pixels, and 23mm f/2.2 lens, as spotted by users via GSM Arena.
The source also reveals that Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) will be powered by Qualcomm snapdragon 650 SoC, a 4,300mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor and a microSD card support.
Interestingly, the specifications revealed by the source are similar to that of device?s alleged GFX bench results. The GFXbench reveals that the device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and has a 5.5-inch screen. According to the results, shows that Galaxy J (2016) has 12MP rear camera and a 13MP secondary camera, which is contradictory to the kernel source specifications. It also shows that the device is equipped with snapdragon 615 SoC clocked at 1.5GHz.
chmark went on to say that Galaxy J (2016)?s primary camera to have features like HDR, touch focus feature, autofocus functionality along with face detection. Other features such as accelerometer, compass, light sensor, proximity sensor, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and Wi-Fi, are also included.
Last year, Samsung Galaxy J7 smartphone was launched which runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and sports 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels (HD). The device is powered by 1.2GHz quadcore snapdragon 410 SoC paired with 1.5GB RAM. With a battery of 3000mAh, it is rated to offer 354 hours of standby time and inbuilt storage of 16GB, as reported by NDTV.
Samsung Galaxy J comes with 13MP rear camera with autofocus feature and f/1.9 aperture, while on the front, a 5MP camera is included. It supports 4G, and 3G along connectivity options like Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, Glonass, and Micro-USB.
