Samsung Galaxy Ace Style
Samsung announced a new budget smartphone called Galaxy Ace Style but unlike its predecessor from Galaxy Ace series, it is a low-end handset. Users will find this device running Android 4.4 KitKat with Galaxy S5 user interface.
It is the company?s first budget smartphone featuring the latest Android operating system that costs from $276 to $413 depending on territory, variant and network carrier. Galaxy Ace Style sports 4.0-inches of display screen size with 800 x 480 pixels or WVGA resolution, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 4 GB internal storage, 4 MP primary camera and VGA secondary camera.
Since it is a low-budget smartphone, Samsung did not add a LED flash on the primary camera and hopefully the lens is good enough to capture decent images under low-light scenes.
Samsung will release Galaxy Ace Style in two variants ? single-SIM and dual-SIM ? and expected to match other low-end smartphones from Motorola (Moto G) and Nokia (Lumia series).
Other Budget Galaxy Smartphones
Galaxy Ace Style is one among four Galaxy smartphones registered at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Samsung recently applied for trademarks on the names Galaxy Core Prima, Galaxy Core Ultra, Galaxy Core Max and Galaxy Ace Style to open a new line-up of low-cost Galaxy handsets for 2014.
According to GalaxyClub, Samsung registered the three Galaxy Core devices as variants of the same model for different network carriers. But the Galaxy Ace Style may be an in-between model of Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy Ace 3 with possible aka naming Galaxy Ace Neo.
Currently, there are two Galaxy Core smartphones expected to be released around Q1 of 2014 which was officially announced.
