Samsung has already started the next smartphone battle as rumors are spreading around that they are now building the brand new Galaxy S7. With Apple releasing the new iPhone 6s and Google showing off two impressive new phones with the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, Samsung has a lot of catching up to do.
The Korean technology company blew us away with their Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, but it?s time to move on and make another big leap in the smartphone industry. Details of the Galaxy S7 are still growing which includes reports that Samsung ?is planning a February reveal date to news about a game-changing image sensor,? according to Alphr.
Rumors are spreading, according to Alphr, that the Galaxy S7 will be making its much awaited debut as early as February. And if we follow the February announce date, we are likely going to see a release date of March or April 2016.
With the Samsung Galaxy S7, the battle might be over before it even started. According to a report from Business Korea, the foldable smartphone technology could become a reality as soon as 2016. So it?s likely that Galaxy S7 might be the first one to use the technology.
But for more realistic rumored features, the flagship smartphone will have a USB Type-C, ?meaning you don?t need to work out which way round to stick in your cable,? shared by Alphr. It can also funnel 4K video, data, and power all through the same cable.
Samsung may have plans to release the Galaxy S7 ?with a magnesium alloy unibody design,? posted by Alphr. This magnesium alloy design would help the smartphone prevent bending while making it lighter than the previous S6. The smartphone is also rumored to sport a Snapdragon 820 processor while running on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
