Daniel Craig starrer Spectre has already created a lot of?enthusiasm?among moviegoers already. And now what has added more impetus to this film’s buzz is the fact that Sam Smith ha sung the title track of the bond movie titled?Writing?s on the Wall.
The song, released by Capitol Records, has been co-written by Smith and fellow Grammy winner?Jimmy Napes. And will be released on? September. 25.
According to a report by Hollywood Reporter, the producers of the film?Michael G. Wilson?and?Barbara Broccol in a joint statement said that, “Writing’s on the Wall? will surely be considered one of the greatest Bond songs of all time.”
While Smith said,??This is one of the highlights of my career. I am honored to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song. I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible lineup of some of my biggest musical inspirations. I hope you all enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it.?
Well with this achievement, Smith has become the first solo artist to have sung for a Bond theme song since 1965. Smith is a recipient of four Grammy awards and three Brits. Not just that, his latest song The Lonely Hour ranked up 67 consecutive weeks in the top 10, which is the highest for someone’s first ever album.
With so much achievement at such a young age, Sam definitely has a long way to go. Great going, boy!
