Sakura-Con Big Reveals: Sword Art Online The Movie -Ordinal Scale Plus Other Anime Series

Sakura-Con wrapped up its 19th annual event on Sunday, March 27th at Washington State Convention Center, Seattle, Washington. The yearly event ended with great success, and fans went home filled with so much fun. There were a handful of surprises which included the revelation of ?Sword Art Online The Movie -Ordinal Scale? visuals.

According to the report of Crunchyroll, Sakura-Con had a good line-up of guest from Sword Art Online The Movie. The troupe from SAO was spearheaded by the author of the manga series himself, Reki Kawahara. Kawahara was accompanied by his ?SAO Original Character Designer Abec, ?Kazuma Miki (KADOKAWA CORPORATION ASCII Media Works Producer), and Shinichiro Kashiwada (Aniplex Producer).?

During the Sakura-Con, ?Sword Art Online The Movie -Ordinal Scale? debuted the key visuals of the film adaptation. It had also been announced that the movie animation is slated for release in 2017.

Another important presentation of Crunchyroll during the Sakura-Con was the official announcement of ?its latest additions for the Spring season in JOKER GAME and KAGEWANI ~II~.? Based on report, the premiere dates of these new series are scheduled. It says that ?Joker Game starts ?on April 5 at 10am pdt, while Kagewani ~II~ premieres on April 1.?

On a different news, another show had premiered during the Sakura-Con. Anime News Network stated that ?the first two episodes of Studio Trigger’s Kiznaiver television anime series.? Based on the report, Kiznaiver will also premiere on Japanese small screen via ?Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11 on April 9 at 11:30 p.m.? including ABC Asahi Broadcasting and TV Aichi.

It has also been announced that the anime series will soon be streamed via Crunchyroll ?starting on April 9 at 11:30 a.m. EDT.? Other online streaming company that will release Kiznaiver anime series is Niconico, but it will only be viewed on Sundays at 10 p.m.
