Stars of the hit Japanese movie will come to Manila for the red carpet premiere of Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno this August.

Everyone is now excited for the next chapter of the samurai x live action Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno,? but, there is more! Stars of the movie will also be in the Philippines for the Asian premiere this August 6, 2014.

For those of you who do not know who Himura Kenshin is, he used to be an assassin also known as the famous Battosai, or Battosai the Killer, but when the new age began, he converted his way of living to a more peaceful life and helping people who are in need .

The first movie was released last 2012. Fans of the manga and anime were not disappointed by the portrayal of the characters as everyone on that film did their best to give the viewers what they wanted to see in a live action film.

I?ve been a huge fan of the anime and manga ever since I was a little boy and for me the live action adaptation of samurai x is not a disappointment, it is actually almost identical to the anime which is good for me and other fans as well.

In this arc the main villain will be Shishio Makoto along with his right-hand man Seta Sojiro and the Juppongatana. Together they will wreak havoc and start a revolution against the meiji government.

Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno is the first sequel to be released and followed by Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends on September 24, 2014. The Asian premiere will be held at SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City, Manila.

Takeru Sato (Himura Kenshin) will also attend the red carpet screening along with the other stars of the film like Emi Takei (Kaoru Kamiya) and Munetaka Aoki (Sanosuke Sagara), together with the director of the film, Keishi Otomo.
