Rudy Giuliani can expect to be bashed on and off social media for the next couple of days. This after the things he said about Beyonce at the VMA 2016. Amazingly, he was able to turn things around and made the discussion all about- you guessed it right, him. ?

Ainsley Earhardt was doing the interview when the former New York City Mayor appeared on Fox & Friends. She was simply showing him a clip of Bey’s performance and what he thought about it. And boy, did he give us a piece of his mind!

Rudy Giuliani said, ?I had five uncles who were police officers, two cousins who were, one who died in the line of duty. I ran the largest and best police department in the world, the New York City Police Department. And I saved more black lives than any of those people you saw on stage by reducing crime and particularly homicide by 75 percent.?

Then he rattled on saying, ?I was sick when I saw all the politicians sitting, standing in Baltimore after the police situation and saying, nobody?s done anything for this community in 50 years. Well, that is a heck of a thing to say, because they?ve been in charge for 50 years. And they have failed the community. I didn?t fail Harlem. I turned Harlem around. I didn?t fail Bedford-Stuyvesant, I turned it around. Go there now. Go walk in Harlem. Then flash back to 25 years ago and go to Harlem before I was mayor, and one was a place where crime was rampant and no national stores and now there?s a thriving community in Harlem.?

And while people are praying for him to stop because the point is already well taken, he doesn’t. He goes on ranting about Beyonce’s performance and how it could impact today’s generation. OMG!

Giuliani Doesn’t See The Issue

Giuliani is the one who DOES NOT understand that Beyonce totally understands that there are serious issues in the community that need to be dealt with. And this goes far beyond the color of your skin. Racial inequality is a very complex issue that warrants critical thinking and thorough discussions in order to find solutions.

But then again, it?s either you get it or you don?t. And apparently, the former NYC mayor just don?t.
