Mixed martial arts fighter Ronda Rousey will be making a return to the octagon via the UFC 207. This will be the first time that Rousey will be seen in action after her shocking loss to Holly Holm more than a year ago. As a result of Rousey?s comeback, a lot of fans are highly anticipating her bout against Amanda Nunes. So, here are the things you need to know about the event.
It has been a while since fans saw Rousey back in the ring. The last time she stepped on the octagon was back in November 2015, where she was knocked down by Holm and suffered her very first defeat. After the bout, there are speculations that she may never want to fight again. But here we are, just a few more hours before Rousey?s much anticipated comeback.
Standing in her way is Nunes, a.k.a. ?The Lioness.? She is the third woman to hold the bantamweight crown, which indicates how great of a fighter she is. Nunes is currently on a four-fight winning streak, and sitting on a 13-4 win-loss record. Rousey, on the other hand, has a fight record of 12-1.
Now, let us proceed to the fight schedule. The Rousey-Nunes bout will take place on December 30, Friday, in Las Vegas. It will start at 8 p.m. Eastern Time and will feature a four-fight prelim card. While for the full five-fight main card, it will start at 10 p.m. ET.
