Ronda Rousey Comes Out Of Hiding After Holms Defeat: How Is She Now?

By on

After weeks of hiding from the public eye, Ronda Rousey is back and beautiful than ever. The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion has been spotted in the streets of her hometown in Los Angeles alongside boyfriend and fellow UFC fighter Travis Browne with their dog ?Mochi? on Monday.

This was the first time she was seen after suffering an excruciating first loss in her mixed martial arts (MMA) career to Holly Holm, the current bantamweight champion, at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia. It looked like she?s doing better than what most fans imagined after receiving hard punches and a one-kick knockout from Holm.

Rousey?s vacation

Reports have stated that Ronda Rousey will take a break and promises to return to the Octagon after taking a surprising defeat. After winning all of her 12 previous fights, her first loss in the Octagon gave her a decision to take a breather and rest for a while.

?I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support. I appreciate the concerns about my health, but I?m fine,? Rousey said in her Instagram account. ?As I had mentioned before, I?m going to take a little bit of time, but I?ll be back.?

On the other hand, Holm has no problems if Rousey wants a rematch to bring back her crown. ?I think a rematch makes sense for sure,? she said. ?I?ve been on a losing side of a fight and I wanted the rematch; I wanted to avenge my loss. With a champion like Ronda who has gone out of her way, above and beyond to do great things, absolutely she deserves a rematch.?

Previous reports have also indicated that Reddit users began mulling over an image of UFC star Ronda Rousey sitting on the ground with her feet showing a mix of?bright yellow?and purple. This would begin a?debate?about the status of Rousey?s health and whether or not the UFC used steroids for the match against Holly Holm. But there?s still no definite reason behind the discoloration. It?s expected that she won?t return to the lifestyle of the MMA anytime soon, but when she does, we imagine she?ll be more pumped up than ever and itching to get another victory.
