Rome Total War is now available on iPad

Good news for Rome Total War fans, Feral Interactive has released the game for iOS. However, the game is available only on iPad, not iPhones.

Feral Interactive is known for developing and publishing ports of its partners’ popular games. Its other notable work includes Batman: Arkham, Tomb Raider and XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Reports claim that Rome Total War will work flawlessly on iPad Air, iPad Mini 2 or higher and iPad Pro.

Rome Total War is available on iOS app store and cost $9.99. To download and install the game on any of the above mentioned iPad devices, you will need at least 4GB storage. Moreover, you should have iOS 9 or higher installed on your device.

The version of iOS is released in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Moreover, you must be seventeen or above to download the game as it contains ?Infrequent/Mild Profanity or Crude Humor, Frequent/Intense Realistic Violence, Infrequent/Mild Sexual Content and Nudity.?

For those who haven?t played Rome Total War, it is a PC strategy game in which players take a role equivalent to the head of one of the three great Roman houses at the time; the Julii, Brutii, and Scipii. It is one of the best reviewed PC strategy games.

The game was initially released for Microsoft Windows on September 22, 2004 in North America. In Europe, it was released on October 1, 2004. The game PC version was developed by The Creative Assembly and was released by Activision. However, rights were soon passed to Sega.

Feral Interactive has already released the game for Mac OS platforms. Developers have already won a BAFTA award for the Mac version of The Movies and Apple Design Award for the Mac version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
