The latest offering from Bandai Namco, which brought us SoulCalibur and Tekken, is Rise of Incarnates, a free-to-play brawling game set to be released for Windows PC later this year. The developer has also revealed that they will hold a closed beta for the game that will kick off on August 8 and will end on August 17 in the United States.

Rise of Incarnates will feature two-on-two fights that are described as “unfettered 3D battles” set to happen in the air and on the ground. The various playable characters called ?Incarnates? will understandably have their own distinct skills and powers; players will then be able to customize their preferred characters. The game boasts of several 3D arenas that will allows players to jump, run and fly.

The beta version will take off on August 8 at 12:01 a.m. PDT and will halt on August 17 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. The players who will be able to sign up will be among those who are first to experience the game?s gory ground based combat, acrobatic aerial battles, power-ups, super moves, and tactical environment manipulation.

Upon beginning Rise of Incarnates beta, players can choose to play as the Grim Reaper, Mephistopheles, Ares, or Lilith. Brynhildr along with another level will be introduced later on August 13. ?Paris and New York will be the first locations of the game.
