Fans of Adult Swim?s sci-fi comedy series Rick and Morty are excited for its forthcoming third season that is expected to air sometime in the near future. Though the exact release date of the series has yet to be announced, one of the concerns of the fans of the series is whether or not online streaming of the show will be available.
Of course, cord cutters can also watch the show at the same time as the live television broadcast through AdultSwim.com. The link to Rick and Morty is right here, but unfortunately this requires a cable subscription to watch the episodes of the show. Since the series is broadcast on Cartoon Network, it requires to have the channel in the package.
Still, it essentially fails to address the problem of viewers interested to catch just the show alone. There is a way around this as users tend to borrow the cable subscriptions from their friends in order to catch the show in real time.
Another option is the Amazon Video which offers you to view either single episodes or the Season Pass. The Rick and Morty Season 1 and Season 2 are currently available via the Amazon Video. However, whether or not the next in line Season 3 will be featured at the same time as the television broadcast remains to be seen.
There is also the option of catching the popular animation on live streaming websites such as Hulu.com. Although, there is no information as to whether or not it is possible to watch Rick and Morty Season 3 as a standalone series.
For now, fans can relive all the fun on KissCartoon.com which host both seasons and doesn?t require you any subscription or payment to stream the episodes.
Season 3 Spoilers
The third season of the show is still in production but several spoilers have emerged following the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) panel where showrunners Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland talked about the future of the series.
There have been several theories of Mr. Meeseeks and the Interdimensional Cable returning for Season 3. The creators, however, had a different take as they revealed they are not so sure of the inter-dimensional cable.
?We?re literally deciding whether or not to do ?Interdimensional Cable 3,? Harmon told iDigital Times. The creator stated they are instead considering incorporating fresh ideas to the series.
Roiland backed up the statement saying ?Possibly, yeah, we?re figuring it out. We?re introducing something amazing we can?t say much about.? But they did not entirely shut down the Interdimensional Cable for Season 3.
As for the blue helper Mr. Meeseeks, Roiland disclosed that ?he hasn?t found the right episode for them to return.? The co-creator explained that they have omitted a scene where Mr. Meeseeks appeared. For more from the Rick and Morty SDCC panel, click here.
The 14-episode run of Rick and Morty Season 3 is expected to be released in late 2016.
