Despite several rumors and speculations, Season 3 of Rick and Morty seems elusive so far and fans waiting for the Adult Swim?s popular sitcom are pretty much disappointed. In an attempt to quell the uneasy anticipation of fanbase show creators in collaboration with Vulture have released a new improvised mini episode titled, ?Summer?s future.?

The mini-episode was recorded few weeks back at San Diego Comic-Con convention and features Dan Harmon, co-creator (and voice of both Rick and Morty) Justin Roiland, Spencer Grammer who voices ?Summer? in addition to writer and producer Ryan Ridley.

The four-and-a-half minute clip involves Summer wanting to get into college who then asks Rick for help. However, Rick is busy fusing feces to Morty?s knees and his knees and legs are swollen with septic shock. Morty, by the way is completely okay with that.

Then Summer ends up threatening the Dean of Admissions at Harvard (Ridley) to get into college and ultimately she does get to college. The timeframe then skips to four year later where apparently Morty has become nothing more than a eyelash and Summer visits with all her degrees. Check the full video below.

The Comic-Con panel also unveiled a silly video that they put together in which Roiland reads, word-for-word, an outrageous and 100% real court transcript in the voices of Rick and Morty. The transcripts comes from a court proceeding in Georgia where a real person went to trial for murder but the video still is hilarious and tremendously profane.

Season 3 Update

The creators even released a?clip from Rick and Morty Season 3 at SDCC16. Though this one is without color or textures, it is still humorous as an altered Rick trying to escape a laboratory comes across a swarm of rats. He builds a suit of a the body of a rat and proceeds to kill as many rodents as he comes across in a rather violent fashion.

The release date of third season is yet known, but co-creators Harmon and Roiland promised that next Rick and Morty season is targeted for ?the end of this year.? It probably means we could catch with the iconic characters most likely in October or rather later by December.
