As a sort of April Fools’ Day event, Adult Swim and show creator Dan Harmon decided to air the third season premier of Rick and Morty. It came completely out of nowhere. Fans were both elated and shocked when they learned that the show aired without even a mere warning. Nevertheless, it was a relief to many that Rick and Morty is now back on air.
Now that the pilot episode is now released, fans are curiously and patiently waiting for the next episode to air. And while there are no news yet about the next episode airing, some fans are speculating that a clue might be hidden in the first episode of the show.
The clue they are pertaining to is the Real Fake Doors multiverse commercial in the show. In the said segment, the funny in-show commercial showed a web address that, from the looks of it, seems legitimate. However, when viewed, a web browser will return with an error, saying the website cannot be found.
Unfortunately, that is just what it is. The website is non-existent and does not hold any clue to when the next episode will air. However, show creator Dan Harmon clarified that it is out of his jurisdiction when the next episode should air. Everything is in the hands of the network now; Harmon is pertaining to Adult Swim, the show’s main network.
He also clarified that his relationship with Justin Roiland is in no means related to the delay. The main reason for the delay, according to Harmon, is their desire to make the show good for the viewers as well as their own perfectionism. It has also been hard and confusing for the Rick and Morty writers to keep up with the story.
For now, the only thing that can be done is to sit and wait. For more updates on the Rick and Morty show, be sure to check us out at TheBitbag.
