Second round of Titanfall DLC called Frontier’s Edge announced by game developer Respawn

Frontier?s Edge, the next round of downloadable content (DLC) for the new game TitanFall has been announced by developer Respawn Entertainment. This Titanfall DLC is the second of the three-part DLC packs planned to be released for the first-person shooter (FPS) game.

Titanfall is a multiplayer, FPS video game published by Electronic Arts and developed by Respawn. It was initially released in March 2014 for the Xbox One and Windows PC. Since then, the game has been treated with its first Titanfall DLC called ?Expedition.?

Upon its official launch during the E3 2013, Titanfall took home a record-breaking six E3 Critics Awards including Best Original Game, Best Console Game, Best In Show, Best Action Game, Best Online Multiplayer, and Best PC Game.

As a heads-up to those who are still planning to get their hands on the game, here is Respawn?s official description of their popular title:

“Set in the near future on a distant frontier torn apart by war, Titanfall drops players in the middle of a conflict between the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC) and the Militia. The action is rapid and varied ? featuring parkour-style wall running and massive double jumps. The freedom to shift back and forth between pilot and titan allows players to change tactics on the fly, attacking or escaping depending on the situation and extending the action vertically to new heights.”

In this Frontier?s Edge pack, players will be able to fight their way through three new terrains. The Titanfall DLC includes the following maps:

  • the isolated mining outpost of Dig Site
  • the exclusive beach resort of Haven
  • the mining hub on the side of a mountain known as Export

The first Titanfall DLC pack was launched for the Xbox 360 last month and for the PC and Xbox One in May. All three of the Titanfall DLC packs will have a $ 9.99 price tag. For gamers who want the best value, they would have to wait for the Titanfall Season Pass, which will offer all of the DLC expansions for a single $ 24.99 purchase.
