It?s been more than a month since Resident Evil 7 Beginning Hour took the world by storm, and it even consumed countless hours of game time, thanks to the secrets it held. It seems that players should brace themselves for more mind-boggling investigations as a new Resident Evil 7 demo might be on the way after a new was released at Gamescom 2016.
Capcom was present at Gamescom 2016, and it brought with it a fresh gameplay trailer for the next main Resident Evil entry. The trailer is once again harrowing and creepy, and it shows off more of the game. Since the first Resident Evil 7 demo feels like it?s cut short, fans speculated that there may be another demo waiting for release.
A blog post by Capcom speaks about the new trailer. It says, ?This time, you?ll get a sneak peek at content from a tape labelled ?Mia,? and you?ll get to see some other areas of the house that you saw in Beginning Hour and characters within ? including Marguerite.?
What makes this trailer different from the ones revealed at E3 is this time, it showcases parts of the game and not just the engine. The Resident Evil 7 Lantern gameplay trailer features found footage segments, and according to the blog post, the tape?s title is Mia.
It?s possible that ?Mia? is an upcoming demo, pretty much like Desolation TAPE-1. If that?s the case, then we may get the answer to the infamous Dummy Finger in the first Resident Evil 7 demo. What makes a second demo more possible is that there are a lot of signs pointing to it, including all the unsolved mysteries in the first demo as well as Capcom saying that there is an actual use for the Dummy Finger.
Resident Evil 7 is due to launch in January next year, so there?s still more time for Capcom to release another demo. Take note that The Beginning Hour Demo will not be included in the retail game this January, but this lantern demo shown at Gamescom 2016 will be a part of the full experience.
