Xiaomi has just release its Redmi 4 smartphone that is quite similar to Redmi Note 4 that the company released in August this year.

Both devices features IPS LCD displays. However, both are different in terms of size and quality. Redmi 4 is fitted with a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution while Redmi Note 4 features much bigger 5.5-inch display with a full HD resolution. Both devices includes multi touch feature.

Redmi 4 runs on Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 with Octa-core CPU clocked at 1.4 GHz and Adreno 505 graphics unit. The company has used a 2GB RAM in its latest handset.
On the other hand, Redmi Note 4 is powered by a Mediatek MT 6797 Helio X20 with Deca-core CPU that boost its performance up to 2.1 GHz. Mali-T880 MP4 is there to improve its graphics. There are two variants of Redmi Note 4 with 2GB and 3GB RAM.

Both devices runs Android Marshmallow based MIUI 8 out of the box. Company is already working on Nougat based MIUI 9 for its handsets. It is highly likely that the company will release update for both smartphones.
