Fans will immediately jump in on anything that revolves around Rockstar and Red Dead Redemption. They?re not really to blame as they?ve been waiting for Red Dead Redemption 2 for years now, and the game has also been heavily rumored and leaked these past months. Since the game didn?t make it to E3 this year, an industry insider hinted that Rockstar will be at the PlayStation Meeting and will possibly reveal the anticipated title there.
Industry insider Tidux recently had a very cryptic tweet, but it?s pretty obvious as to what it is. Tidux tweeted a guitar and a star emoji followed by #PSM. It?s pretty obvious that he?s hinting at Rockstar being at the upcoming PlayStation Meeting, but there?s good reason not to believe the ?insider? first.
Pushsquare reports that Tidux has made a string of inaccurate predictions before. It?s not really advised to readily believe anything that the industry insider says. However, this doesn?t completely dismisses the idea that Rockstar won?t be at the PlayStation Meeting because both Sony and Rockstar have a fairly good relationship with each other.
Even if Rockstar appears at the big event, there?s still a chance that it won?t reveal Red Dead Redemption 2 there. Rockstar doesn?t have a history of having big reveals during events, and some of its titles were announced through their website only. However, this doesn?t mean a long wait for fans of Red Dead Redemption as Rockstar could still announce the sequel or prequel at any moment now.
Considering the heavy rumors and leaks on Red Dead Redemption 2 earlier this year, fans are already eager to see the next entry. Rockstar has been particularly quiet on the rumored title, but there are a lot of signs that the game is already deep into development. A reveal is possible this year, but expecting a 2016 release may be a long shot.
