Red Dead Redemption 2 will not arrive until the middle of 2017 but already; it?s been compared to the likes of Rockstar?s GTA V. After the Red Dead Redemption sequel was confirmed a few months ago, little has been said about it. But the fact that Rockstar confirmed it?s coming has made fans look forward to it.
According to some news online; much can be compared to the game and GTA V also known as GTA Online. According to EXPRESS UK, the three playable characters featured on the game are very much alike GTA V?s Franklin, Michael and Trevor. An insider revealed that the gameplay will be very much like Red Dead Redemption but with the main playable character accompanied by three more.
Clearly, Red Dead Redemption 2 will have its own multiplayer mode as well as an online mode. While the RDR game cannot be straight up compared to the GTA online, much of its concept is very similar to the latter.
Red Dead Redemption Trailer
Meanwhile, the RDR 2 trailer has been featured as early as October this year. But unlike the original game that is now part of the Xbox One backwards compatibility list,;the Red Dead Redemption 2 game will first launch on the PS4 console.
Unfortunately, the game will be a ?timed exclusive to PlayStation 4 and may eventually release to other platforms after its time on the PS4. Interestingly, as early now, fans have petitioned for the game to also arrive on the Windows 10 platform. Rockstar and Sony have not yet delivered their official statement about the petition.
The announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2 ?came long after the original game arrived on the BC Feature. Even at the time, Rockstar downplayed they?re creating the sequel for the game. It was soon confirmed after Rockstar announced the game is under development; followed by an interesting trailer to back up the announcement.
