Fans have been aching to get their hands on the next Red Dead Redemption game since the first one launched several years back. Earlier this year, there have been a lot of alleged leaks and rumors that point to the game being released soon, but Rockstar is yet to announce it. Despite strong rumors, Red Dead Redemption 2 also didn?t make its premiere at E3 2016.
By now, any alleged leak for Red Dead Redemption 2 will surely rile up series fans regardless of whether or not it is legitimate. The new alleged leak is a listing of the anticipated title on Best Buy?s pre-orders.
Although no release date was pegged, this Reddit post states that Best Buy will begin accepting pre-orders for the sequel soon. However, fans shouldn?t get too excited and should take this ?leak? with a grain of salt as it?s fairly easy to create a listing like that.
This isn?t the first time the sequel made rounds on the Internet and showed up on online retailers. Back in 2013, fans were fooled into thinking that the next entry will launch in 2015 through this leak by Webhallen, but still, the game is not within our grasps. We?ve even yet to see the game and whether it?s a sequel or a prequel.
Some leaks also suggest that a remaster of Red Dead Redemption will also come out, but that was a few months back, and we?ve heard no news from Rockstar just yet.
The hype behind the game is very big, so gamers are advised to take leaks with caution. The safest thing to do for now is to wait for Rockstar to officially announce the game. Judging by the game?s popularity and the fans? insistent demands, the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date may not be too far off.
