Other Update Additions
The update will also bring in a few improvements to Rainbow Six Siege. One of these is an improvement on the in-game destruction caused by weapons. Once the update drops, bullets will have a more significant effect on destruction. Higher caliber weapons will cause more damage, and lower caliber weapons cause less damage.
Battle Dress Uniforms will also be introduced in the update. This will be a new way for players to customize their favorite Operators. To kick off the new feature, there will be new exclusive uniforms for Hibana and Echo. Other operators to get Battle Dress Uniforms are Capitao, Caveira, Ash, Sledge, Thatcher, Mute, and Smoke.
Aside from the new features, there will be new gameplay tweaks as well. One of the major gameplay tweaks affects the damage in the game. After the update, neck shots will be considered as headshots. Players will also be feeling the effects of limb damage as the multiplier has been increased to 1x from 0.75x.
There a lot of other gameplay tweaks coming to the game. For an in-depth look at the update, check out this post from Ubisoft.
