Radiohead to go on world tour to promote it upcoming album

English rock band ?Radiohead? has declared a world tour to promote their upcoming album as-yet-unannounced ninth album. The band will kick start its tour from May, and it will end in October.

Radiohead?s tour includes a mix of headlining shows as well as festival appearances, which was previously announced. These include Barcelona?s Primavera Sound, Montreal?s Osheaga and Japan?s Summer Sonic. The band will also step in the US and would play two nights at both Madison Square Garden in New York City and Los Angeles? Shrine Auditorium, notes Consequence of Sound.

Apart from this, the English band would make appearances in some more festivals, which are yet to be announced. COS point out that the band?s plan may include festivals like Lollapalooza in Chicago and San Francisco?s Outside Lands.

Radiohead is gearing to release its ninth studio album, which is the follow-up to 2011?s ?The King of Limbs?. In October of last year, the band?s members started a new company called Dawn Chorus LLP. The band released two studio albums under the new company and similar actions were taken months before releasing it. However, the new albums release dates are not confirmed yet. However, going by the recent events, the release could be imminent. Meanwhile, Radiohead?s website says, ?These are all the headline shows that the band will play in 2016.?
