PS Plus Free Games

July is almost here, and we have the final list of free games for this month. After a month full of rumors, Sony has announced PS Plus free games for July, and Microsoft has also confirmed four titles for the month. With all the free games revealed, it?s time to think about who wins this month. The comparison depends on how the games have performed, their release date, Metacritic score, varieties and more.

PS Plus Free Games For July 2016:

PS4: Furi (NA), Saints Row: Gat out of Hell (64%)

PS3: Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (78%), Fat Princess (79%)

PS Vita: Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines (78%), Prince of Persia: Revelation (65%)

Xbox Live Games With Gold For July 2016:

Xbox One: Tumblestone (NA), The Banner Saga 2 (NA, 83% for PC Version)

Xbox 360: Tom Clancy?s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (82%), Tron: Evolution (58%)

Both companies are offering brand new games that are coming this month. Sony is bringing Furi, a fast-paced fighting game that includes boss fights. On the other hand, Xbox One owners will be getting Tumblestone, an action-puzzle game that lets players challenge their friends and fellow gamers in both multiplayer and story mode.

Both companies are offering old games as well. The Tron Evolution for Xbox 360 was released in 2010, while the Tom Clancy?s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 hit shelves in 2008. The Banner Saga 2 is available for PC since April this year, and now it is coming to Xbox One as a free-to-play game.

If the significance of the titles is considered through their review scores, it seems that Microsoft wins the race this time. However, Sony beats Microsoft by giving an additional benefit to its subscribers with PS Plus Free Games. Sony, on its official blog, announced that it is giving away early access to Paragon before the game hits open beta in August. The new multiplayer online battle arena developed by Epic Games will give PS Plus members a Starter Pack which includes Master Challenges for Murdock, Heroes Gadget, Rampage and more. The whole package is worth US$40.
