Starting next Tuesday, PS Plus subscribers will have something to celebrate about. Sony has just released the full list of free games for the PS Plus in the month of May. And this one is, in fact, a doozy.
According to the official Sony Playstation Blog, PS Plus subscribers will be happy to know that the lineup for next month will be worth the wait. Starting off with Tales from the Borderlands for the PS4.
Tales from the Borderlands
This PS4 title developed by Telltale Games is based on the original Borderlands series. However, this version follows the episodic format that Telltale is know for.
The game is set in the Borderlands universe on the planet of Pandora. The players follow the adventures of two protagonists, Rhys and Fiona, as they search for a long lost fortune.
For a bit of rest and relaxation on the PS4, there is Abzu. This game of exploring was developed by Giant Squid Studios and was released on the console last August 2016. The game follows a diver as she wakes from slumber while afloat in the vast ocean. The story is told with visual cues as players direct the diver with the analog controller.
On the PS3, PS Plus subscribers will be able to download Blood Knights and Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants. Blood Knights is a hack-and-slash action game developed by Deck13 Interactive. The game provides platform, role-playing, and combat games with local co-op features.
On the other hand, Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants is a business simulation game developed by Gaming Minds Studios. The game features an open-ended gameplay allowing players to choose and pursue several careers. Players could either be a business tycoon or a pirate in the game.
Finally, on the PS Vita Laser Disco Defenders and Type: Rider are on the list next month. It should be noted though that these games are cross buys. So, PS Plus subscribers with a PS4 will be able to download these two titles on the console as well.
