PS Plus Free Games April 2016

Dead Star is coming this April as part of the PlayStation Plus lineup of free games. Dead Star is a multiplayer space shooter for PlayStation 4 and PC which is coming along with the other titles for PlayStation Plus members. Sony has not revealed any information regarding the other games of the PS Plus free games for April lineup but it is possible that PlayStation may reveal more titles earlier than expected.

Dead Star is developed by Armature Studio which has already delivered games such as Batman: Arkham Origins, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, and The Unfinished Swan. The studio is also working on ReCore.

Recently, a PlayStation console owner saw a Dead Star pre-order listing and the person apparently pre-ordered Dead Star for PlayStation 4. Later, Sony refunded the amount paid by the person and stated in their notification that the game will be available as part of the PS Plus free games for April lineup. Sony also gave the person a free Dead Star theme as a token of appreciation for the ?erroneous? pre-order.

The release of Dead Star is scheduled for April 5 as listed on the PlayStation Store page. It has been confirmed that the game will join the PS Plus games lineup for April just like Rocket League which was released as a free game in 2015.

According to the suggestions and speculations of PlayStation users on the official PlayStation community, the PS Plus free games lineup for April may include games such as Resident Evil 4, Shovel Knight, Persona 4 Golden, and Killzone Shadow Fall. With the confirmation of the arrival of Dead Star as a PS Plus free game for April, players can now guess one less game for PlayStation 4.

In May, Uncharted 4 will come out and it is possible that Sony may not add any major AAA title to PS Plus in April. The company, however, ?may opt to release a big game in order to please fans who have long been craving for a AAA game.
