Microsoft Project Scorpio might get unveiled this weel

The Microsoft Project Scorpio is perhaps the most highly anticipated console releasing this year. While Microsoft has already said that it will be released later this year, many are still hoping to get a glimpse of the said console during this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2017) in Los Angeles. However, it would seem that the Project Scorpio could get a much earlier unveiling. In fact, the said unveiling could even happen as early as this week.

According to Windows Central Senior Editor Jez Corden, the Project Scorpio will be showcased pretty soon. He even said that the unveiling will be done even before E3. He also clarified that, due to the timing of his announcement, his pronouncements are in fact 100 percent true.

In a recent article from the same website, it would seem that a major gaming outlet has met with the Project Scorpio developers for a device showcasing. Furthermore, the article also said that everything could be revealed as early as this Thursday, April 6.

Unfortunately, these claims are somewhat unfounded and do not have substantial proof. Therefore, it is best to treat this one with a grain of salt, just like any other rumours about the Project Scorpio.

However, what is certain is, the Project Scorpio will be featured during this year’s E3 in June. The console will be the main highlight of the Microsoft presentation during the said event. Furthermore, the software giant will also officially announce launch game titles for the console.

At the moment, there are rumors that game titles like Forza 7 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are already lined up. Even the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront 2 from EA are also said to appear with the console on its release.

Microsoft has still to make an official statement regarding the rumoured unveiling this week. So far, the company has remained tight-lipped regarding the matter. For more updates on the Project Scorpio, be sure to check us out at TheBitbag.
