Preacher Episode 6 titled ?Sundowner? showcased one of the best action sequences in the series so far and it was all viewed from a hole in a motel room wall.

Jesse Custer finally sat down with the angels from heaven, DeBlanc and Fiore, who urged him to give back the angel-demon entity, Genesis, to its coffee can domicile. The angels who said that they were the custodians of Genesis told Jesse all about the ancient war between the forces of heaven and hell where two soldiers from opposite sides fell in love. It was an abomination, as Fiore said. And the seed of that union came to be Genesis, the mysterious entity which now resides in Jesse, which he believes is the ?voice of God? and it was God?s will for him to possess it (or for it to possess him). ??

In the middle of their little chat, the angels saw a seraphim, who was out to get them. They eventually got away from the angel disguised as a Texas housewife but she eventually tracked them down at the Sundowner Motel. They wanted to restrain the seraph and Jesse got into the brawl as well. The angels all wound up killing each other and resurrecting again leaving behind their bodies and coming back after a few moments. The seraph punctured a hole in the wall and the shot zoomed out and all we can see are flashes of light, blood everywhere, punches being thrown, necks getting choked, bones breaking?all that and the opening credits haven?t even rolled yet.

In the upcoming Preacher Episode 7 titled ?He Gone,? Eugene?s father finds out that he?s missing. In the preview, Jesse tells Eugene?s dad, ?Nope, I haven?t seen him? even though he knows exactly (or not that exact) where he went. ?There is a brewing love triangle between Jesse, Cassidy and Tulip, and Cassidy thinks that Jesse has lost control of his power. The promo ended with Jesse saying, ?If his judgement is to send one more lost soul into the fire, then what can I do??

Where could Eugene have gone? Did he really go to hell? What will become of Jesse and the people around him if he continues using Genesis?

Catch Preacher, Sundays, 9/8c on AMC.
