A famous Donald Trump Twitter post is going viral for the second time around. This is because of the unique twist given by actor Mark Hamill, who voices Joker in the Batman animated series.
The recently-elected 45th President of the United States of America has become one of social media’s biggest users. His Twitter account has undoubtedly raised some of last year’s biggest controversies – from his views about different issues and random rants about people.
Most-hated person online?
In spite of his unpopular online posts, the billionaire businessman still managed to win as president last November 2016. Donald Trump’s victory over Democrat candidate Hillary Trump inevitably caused many detractors to complain on social media.
In spite of doubts surrounding his victory, the 70-year-old remained firm in his different stances on varying issues. However, his more recent posts following his success have been “less troll-like” compared to when he was just a candidate.
Donald Trump Twitter greeting for New Year
Last December 31, 2016, the 70-year-old took to Twitter to greet people for the coming New Year. In his message, it seemed like the tycoon-turned-president couldn’t help but still gloat over his haters.
“Happy New Year to all, including to my many enemies and those who have fought me and lost so badly they just don’t know what to do. Love!” Donald Trump tweeted.
The message was retweeted over 143,000 times and received more than 351,000 likes.
Many of his supporters tweeted back to show their love for the next US president. However, his critics inevitably got pissed again. Some of them responded by accusing him over being unpresidential.
Mark Hamill “speaks up”
The backlash of the week-old post has seemingly died down. However, an actor could not help but troll back Trump’s arrogant tweet.
A report from Slate shared an audio clip of Mark Hamill as Joker – reading Trump’s New Year greeting in his animated voice.
Aside from voicing The Joker in different Batman projects, the 65-year-old celebrity is also known for being a part of Star Wars. After his unique spoof on the president’s tweet, many are asking if someone could come up with a version of Bane or Darth Vader next.
