Pokemon Sun And Moon Type Null: An Eevee Experiment?

By on

Pokemon Sun and Moon has become one of the most fascinating games in the series. The game has received praise for Alolan Pokemon and changing up the formula. It’s not even out yet, but the number of theories for the game has increased significantly. Whether it involves guessing the bad guys or figuring out the purpose of Zygarde, theories are everywhere. This one, however, might be the most interesting: is Type: Null an experimented Eevee?

Eevee has always been one of the most interesting Pokemon in the series. It started the series out with three evolution forms which has now grown to eight, thanks to recent games. Given Eevee’s ability to adapt and evolve into different forms, it’s easy to see why it would be experimented on.

The Theory

According to a YouTube video by Ovi, Null ? or Type: Null ? was a Pokemon made up of various creature parts. Think a Pokemon Frankenstein monster. Null was constructed to adapt to any situation; hence, the various Pokemon parts. What other Pokemon would be perfect to experiment on than Eevee?

Due to its various Eeveelutions, it’s easy to see why this could be the base experiment. Pokemon Sun and Moon don’t seem to have any Eeveelutions, so this could be the next best thing. It’s a dark turn for the series, which is actually kind of welcome.

The Possible Proof

Eevee’s DNA has been described as genetically unstable. This is why it can evolve into so many different types. The fact that Team Skull ? or maybe the Aether Foundation ? made a Pokemon that can adapt to various situations is possible proof it was Eevee. Now that it is Null, it will be interesting to see if it has any evolutions.

Experimentation is nothing new to Pokemon, which sounds horrifying. Mewtwo was a clone of Mew after all. Eevee could be the next experimental Pokemon, and it’s actually fitting, as awful as that sounds.

Pokemon Sun and Moon are slated for a November 11 release. The games will be available on the 3DS. They will also be playable on the 2DS and New 3DS. Will it be the best Pokemon game ever made? It is a definite possibility. ?
