The alleged gen 7 Pokemon list for Pokemon Sun and Moon was recently leaked, and although we?ve gotten names and numbers so far, the list reveals a few things about the upcoming title. Aside from the possible appearance of the final evolutions of the starters, there?s still more to the list than meets the eye. Here?s a few things we know about Pokemon Sun and Moon based on the roster leak.
Four Legendaries Confirmed?
We?ve reported before about another Legendary Pokemon that could be joining gen 7, which is believed to be one of Alola lore Legendaries, alongside Solgaleo and Lunaala. While Solgaleo and Lunaala represent the Sun and Moon respectively, Malshadow or Marshadow is a representation of Mars, who is the Roman god of war. Aside from these three, Magearna will also be joining the fray, but it probably will not play a major role in the story unlike Solgaleo, Lunaala and Malshadow.
103 And More Pokemon To Encounter In Alola
The list contains 103 new Pokemon, and this includes the 4 Legendaries. If we take out Solgaleo and Lunaala who are exclusive depending on what game the player gets, players can catch a total of 102 gen 7 Pokemon in Pokemon Sun and Moon. If we add past gen Pokemon who are going to make an appearance in the game, we get an even bigger number.
Guardians Of Alola?
Before the Legendaries, we?ll see four distinct names; Tapu Koko, Tapu Pipi, Tapu Poloka and Tapu Mano. Tapu Koko has been revealed before alongside one of Alola?s Kahunas. It?s likely that these four uniquely named Pokemon are going to be the main creatures of each of the Hakuna in Pokemon Sun and Moon, and they could somewhat be the guardians of Alola. It?s possible that Tapu Pipi, Poloka and Mano are just the evolutions of Tapu Koko, but judging by their types, it?s very likely.
