Pokemon Sun and Moon Second Global Mission Finally Revealed

Pokemon Sun and Moon is certainly one of the most popular games for the Nintendo 3DS. The latest installments in the Pokemon game series has been a huge hit ever since it was launched last month. To help boost the popularity of the game, Game Freak announced that there will be global missions for Pokemon Sun and Moon players. Now, the second Pokemon Sun and Moon Global Mission has finally been revealed to the delight of its fans.

The first global mission of Pokemon Sun and Moon was certainly a huge disappointment. Players of the game from all over the world were not even close to reaching the goal.

Pokemon Sun and Moon First Global Mission

The daunting mission was to catch 100 million Pokemon within the period of November 29 to December 13. Sadly, only 16.5 million Pokemon were caught within the mission period.

Now, Pokemon Sun and Moon players have a chance at redemption as the second global mission has been revealed. This time, it appears that Game Freak is giving great rewards for a somewhat easier mission.

Pokemon Sun and Moon Second Global Mission

According to GameSpot, players from around the world are required to catch 1 million Pokemon using the new Island Scan feature. The feature is only available after earning 100 points from scanning QR codes in the game.

The Pokemon Sun and Moon second global mission is set to start from December 26th at 11:00 PM EST until January 9th. This is surely going to make fans of the game rush to try and find as many Pokemon as they can within the mission period.
