Pokemon GO worldwide release has been delayed, according to recent reports, and fans of the game may have to wait for a while before it launches in their country.
If you are not familiar with Pokemon Go, it is the latest smartphone game which has become extremely popular across the globe. The game itself has been years in the making, and fans of the Pokemon franchise have really been looking forward to the release of the augmented reality game developed by Niantic Labs.
Last week, Pokemon fans in the United States, Japan, Australia and New Zealand were in for a treat as the game launched in those selected countries. While many fans have been eagerly waiting for the game to be launched in their location, it might not be sometime soon if recent reports that the Pokemon GO worldwide release has been delayed indefinitely is to be believed.
According to a report from NDTV, server issues have become a very big problem for the Pokemon GO developers. According to Niantic Labs CEO John Hanke said ?We thought the game would be popular, but it obviously struck a nerve.? What?s worse, Hanke continued to say that the Pokemon Go launch in other countries has been ?paused until we?re comfortable?.
This is certainly very sad news for those who were looking forward to starting their career as a Pokemon trainer. According to Inquistr, Niantic Labs is already ?well-aware of the problem? and that they are ?keenly pursuing a fix?. It is not really disclosed just exactly what they are doing but at least we know that they are well-aware of the issues plaguing the game.
There is no concrete timeline as to when the Pokemon Go worldwide launch will happen, but everyone is hoping that it will be sooner rather than later. The massive popularity of the game is certainly one reason for the huge server issues, but rest assured that Niantic Labs is surely doing something about it as we speak.
