Pokemon GO has become a massive success since it was launched in early July. Now, countless players all over the world play the game and try to become the best Pokemon trainer they can be. While catching Pokemon is one of the major aspects of the game, hatching Pokemon eggs is also very important. It may become even more significant once the Pokemon GO update that could introduce region-based eggs will become available.
Catching all the Pokemon available is certainly the mission of all Pokemon GO players all over the world. While that can be easier said than done, the game also gives gamers a chance to get Pokemon by hatching eggs too.
Hatching a Pokemon egg is fairly simple. All you would need to do is to use an incubator to incubate a Pokemon egg. After you do that, you just need to walk the required distance of the particular egg that you have incubated. That means if you incubate a 2km egg, you would need to walk 2 kilometers in order for the egg to hatch. The same goes for 5km and 10km eggs.
While the distance associated with each egg is the main difference so far, it could be possible for the game?s developers to add something new in future updates. One of the most exciting changes could be the introduction of region-based eggs.
As you may probably know, there are some Pokemon which are only available in certain regions. Mr. Mime is a Pokemon exclusive only to Europe, Kangaskhan is exclusive to Australia, Farfetch?d is exclusive to Asia and Tauros is only available in North America.
Even if you travel to these regions, it is not a guarantee that you will be lucky enough to catch these exclusive Pokemon. Having region-based eggs though can be a very cool concept. That means if you travel to these regions and check in to a Pokestop, whichever eggs that you get there would be specific to that region.
As such, even if you do not encounter a wild Kangaskhan while vacationing in Australia, you could potentially hatch it in your home country if you were able to get eggs during your vacation.
This Pokemon GO update is still not confirmed but surely it is one very interesting idea that Niantic Labs will hopefully add to the game. Be sure to check back here soon to find out more updates on Pokemon GO as well as on other trending topics in the world of gaming.
