It was only a matter of time, so it comes as no surprise to see that Pokemon GO will soon be available in more countries in the next few days. Currently, the mobile game is only available in America, Australia, and New Zealand. That is about to change, as it looks like the game will be coming to the UK, Europe and Asia sooner rather than later.
When developer Niantic stated that the game would be coming out in July, fans wondered when in the month the mobile title would come out in. Fans were surprised to see how early it was available, even though it was only in select countries. Some wanted to play the game so badly that they made different Apple Ids and even used the APK to play it.
That is all about to change, as the Wall Street Journal has stated that Pokemon GO would soon be available in in the abovementioned countries “in a few days” from now. No definite date was given, but it looks like the mobile title will be coming sooner rather than later, which is great news for all in the previously mentioned countries.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for those in South America and Canada. It seems like Pokemon fans in these countries will not be getting the game in July as they were not mentioned in the report, which is pretty disappointing to say the least.
Considering the amount of server issues the mobile title has suffered through since its launch, it is somewhat understandable to delay the game’s worldwide release. Niantic actually had to stop the servers for a while due to the amount of players using the game, which upset some fans, even though it was to make the game play better.
It’s clear that Pokemon GO is a huge hit and its star is going to shine even brighter in the coming days. Some fans should be able to download the augmented reality game now, depending on what country they are in. Others will have to wait for a few days or even till next month to get their hands on the mobile title.
