The hit mobile game Pokemon GO, which has already broken records since its release two weeks ago, is experiencing problems right now as several users have reported that servers are down in specific regions across the globe.
According to reports, the service disruptions originally started in Japan. But, the issue seems to have spread in other regions such as the East Coast of the United States and other areas like California, as gamers claim that they are also having trouble playing the game with regards to logging in.
All areas are experiencing different login issues. In the United States, Google Login is the one that has been reported to be down and at critical levels at the moment. On the other hand, Google accounts are said to be working well in Europe and Asia. But when it comes to the Trainer Club login, it is going to be the other way around with the U.S. and Europe doing fine while gamers in Asia are the ones having problems.
As of now, there is no confirmation whether or not Pokemon GO servers are already up again in these areas. For updates, you can visit the twitter account, Pokemon GO Servers, as they will be releasing updates on down and fixed servers. Also, here are the other websites you can check to see if the server in your region is down, as reported by EuroGamer:
- MMO Server Status – shows the status and ping (connection rate) for individual countries across Europe, U.S. and Asia.
- Jooas – displays the status of both the game and Pokemon Trainer Club log-ins in the present time, past hours and past days.
- CMMCD – uses people?s responses to determine whether or not the servers are experiencing major problems.
- The Official Pokemon GO Twitter account – will report on any significant outages.
Also, if an explicit message that states ?We are working to resolve the issues? appears and goes with a specific Pokemon GO artwork, that is the exact time you go and check these sites to verify if the server in your region is experiencing outages or if it is down.
Reports regarding the stability of servers in the areas mentioned are still not available so be sure to stay tuned here on TheBitbag for updates on Pokemon GO servers. Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
