Niantic has started cracking down on third party Pokemon tracking sites. PokeVision, one of the widely used tool for real-time Pokemon tracking, is no longer accessible. However, the PokeMap Live that works similar to PokeVision can be used as an alternative tool.
To track Pokemon in real-time, users are only required to launch the tool and it will start showing the Pokemon that are available in the vicinity. It displays a crowdsourced map that will include all the Pokemon that has been spotted by the users of PokeMap Live.
If the area where one is playing Pokemon GO game does not have many Pokemon on the map, players can sign-in into their game account and it will begin to simulate walking. The latest edition of the app is version 1.30 and it weighs 5.56 MB.
It can be installed on devices running on Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or higher. The app has been built by Skiplagged that is a well-known search engine for finding low-priced flights and hotels.
Using Skiplagged to Find Pokemon in Real-Time
The browser edition of Skiplagged Pokemon tracker not only shows a map that includes the real-time location of Pokemon, but ?it also reveals how long it would remain at a particular spot.
The filter option makes it easier to search for specific Pokemon. Players can simply deselect and select particular Pokemon from showing up on the map.
?Nearby,? the in-built feature of Pokemon GO was recently removed through the latest update. The feature enabled users to track Pokemon in their area by viewing the number of footprints. The developers have confirmed that it was removed because it did not work properly. It will soon release an update that will include an improved version of Nearby.
