The augmented reality mobile game from Niantic Labs has finally launched in Asia a couple of weeks ago and it looks like more Asian countries will follow. Based on a recently uncovered leak, it appears that the ?Pokemon GO? Malaysia launch could be the next on schedule.
?Pokemon GO? was launched with much success in Japan last July 21, which meant that the game finally made it to the Asian region. Hong Kong soon followed as ?Pokemon GO? was officially launched in the country on July 24. Pokemon fans in Asia are probably wondering which country will get the game next and the answer to that just might be Malaysia.
According to the Malaysian Digest, a recent leak may have revealed that ?Pokemon GO? would be coming to Malaysia next. The report cites that ?Pokemon GO? fans have gotten their hands on a cached webpage of a prepaid mobile service provider?s website, which revealed a promotion with ride sharing service Grab Malaysia that will be offered to ?Pokemon GO? players.
This is certainly a great indication that mobile providers have been tipped off that ?Pokemon GO? Malaysia could be happening soon. Also worth noting is that a ?Pokemon GO? server has already been created for Malaysia. With this news, it may not be too long before Pokemon fans can enjoy the game in the country.
After Japan and Hong Kong, Singapore was rumored to be the next country to get ?Pokemon GO.? That could change though with this recent report coming out of Malaysia.
