Pokemon GO

Ever since Pokemon GO was launched in July, players have been searching for Legendary Pokemon such as Ditto, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo and Mew even though they are not present in the game. A vague statement made by Niantic Labs CEO, John Hanke hints that Ditto is hiding in the game.

Hanke Hints Ditto Is Present in Pokemon GO

In a recent interview, Hanke spoke several things related to Pokemon. At the end of the interview, he was asked how could players find Ditto. In reply, he stated that, ?I can?t tell you how to find Ditto because that wouldn?t be any fun when you did find him if I did. But it will happen for you. I promise.?

The statement does hint that Ditto may be available in the game, but none of the players have succeeded in finding them, Heavy reported. If Ditto is not present in the game, Hanke could have stated that Ditto is not in the game and it will arrive in the game in due course of time.

In the past, he has spoken this way on the existence of Legendary Pokemon in the game. During the Comic-Con 2016 event that was held at the end of July, Hanke said that the game has a few Easter Eggs and nobody has found them yet. Did he hint that Ditto is hiding in the game?

Aggressive Search for Ditto

Finding Ditto is the Reddit community that has been mainly created by people who are actively searching for Ditto in Pokemon GO. Some players are even speculating that Ditto may have arrived in the game with the update brought the new Buddy Pokemon feature.

One of the Redditors have stated that Ditto will show up as a copy of buddy Pokemon of a trainer. A video had surfaced a few days ago that showed a player getting Ditto through a 1 km egg. However, the video was found to be fake.

The player had stated that Niantic had gifted him Ditto after he made a complaint. The email that he revealed in support of his claim was found to contain spelling mistakes and it did not appear as Niantic could have sent it.
