Pokemon GO players are eagerly searching for powerful Legendary Pokemon such as Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mew and MewTwo. Some players have claimed that they caught Mew and MewTwo despite reports that these characters are not yet available in the game.
Recently, an Australian Pokemon GO player named Jason claimed that he was attacked by a bulky person after he allegedly found the MewTwo. The picture of the MewTwo that was shared by him to Buzzfeed was found to be photoshopped.
Reddit user ?_istin_? went through the code of Pokemon GO and came across references of Mew. It was found that Mew does not have a base capture rate. It means players won?t be able to catch it in the wild.
Meanwhile, the Legendary birds like Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres are currently only available in the Pokemon GO game as mascots for Team Mystic, Team Instinct and Team Valor, respectively. All the five legendaries are expected to be available in the game through special events.
The original trailer of the game revealed MewTwo at the Times Square. It showed Pokemon enthusiasts charging toward the location to fight against it. Hence, it is heavily speculated that the rare Pokemon will be made available through events where players will be able to battle and capture them.
Speculations are rife that John Hanke, the founder of Niantic, will reveal details on Legendary Pokemon at the ongoing San Diego Comic Con 2016. He will “examine the past, present and future of extending games beyond the screen and re-imagining reality through the lens of Ingress and Pok?mon Go.?
Niantic is also expected to share information on various issues such as also expected to speak on server stability and other problems that are associated with the game. Meanwhile, Pokemon GO fans can make use of various tools like Poke Radar, Google Maps hack and Pokemon Go Maps Pro to find rare Pokemon, PokeStops and Gyms.
