After the much-anticipated St. Patrick’s Day event did not take place, Pokemon GO trainers now look forward the possible next event, the Pokemon Go Easter Event. Although Niantic Lab has not confirmed it yet, it might probably the best time to give gamers some bonus goodies. So, without any further ado, here are the things you need to know about the event.
According to a recent report, it is somehow easy to guess what bonuses gamers will receive in the possible event. First on the list is Pokemon Eggs. Since the holiday is known for its Easter eggs, then gamers should expect a lot of those oval thing in the upcoming event. Also, it is a known fact that bunch of baby Pokemon hatch from eggs, so it will as well be the best time to collect rare creatures in the game.
Another bonus that trainers should expect is the increased spawn rates of some Pokemon. Back in February, Niantic Lab celebrated Valentine’s day by having pink Pokemon appear more often than usual. This time, the developers might increase the spawn rate of bird creatures. Should that be the case, then expect Pidgey, Spearow, Wingull, Natu, and Hoot Hoot to appear more frequently. Two of the ones most anticipated include the Delibird and Smeargle, although the Delibird might be released in the Pokemon GO Gen 3 update.
‘Pokemon GO’ Easter Event Confirmation
Gamers all know that Niantic Lab is a real fan of the holidays. They use it to launch special in-game events like what they did during the Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine’s day. Now, it can be recalled that before those events kicked off, the developers already announced the coming of it two to three days ahead. With that fact at hand, it is safe to say that Niantic will confirm the Easter event in the second week of April.
This year’s Easter Sunday will take place on April 16. That is barely less than a month from now. If Niantic Lab is really planning to launch an Easter event, then its announcement should come in the Holy Week or the week before that. If that would be the case, then April would be a very busy time for all trainers out there.
On a bad note, hints about the Easter event is still nowhere to be found. Niantic Lab has not released any statement yet so it would be better to take the information with a grain of salt. To be sure of the event, stay tuned here on The Bitbag for we will be keeping you updated.
