Pokemon GO Easter Event: Easter Eggs To Bring Legendary Pokemon

Pokemon GO Easter Event could be coming in two weeks

Easter Sunday is right around the corner and Niantic Labs might launch on that day another Pokemon GO bash. Confirmation about the Easter event is yet to be formally announced but speculations about it are already online. Based on rumors, it will repeat some Special Event abilities similar to previous ones.

Niantic Labs is a real fan of the holidays. They use it in launching past events just like the ones that took place on Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine’s day. This is the main reason why fans strongly believe that there will be an Easter Event coming two weeks from now. Should that be the case, then here are the things trainers should anticipate from the bash.

According to SlashGear, the possible event might bring back some previous perks from past events. That includes Double XP, Double Stardust, and increased spawn rate for rare Pokemon. It is not clear, however, which of these three would actually be present in the event. But, if those would be featured at the same time, that would be really great.

Other speculations suggest that Easter Eggs will be all over the game. Should that be the case, then that would be perfect for gamers who are trying to collect rare Pokemon through egg hatching. Also, SlashGear noted that Shiny Pokemon might even appear more often than usual during the Easter event.

Legendary Pokemon On Easter

Meanwhile, all players of Pokemon GO have been wanting to catch or at least encounter a Legendary creature. Ever since the game was launched, Niantic Labs has released only a few statements about those one-of-a-kind Pokemon. However, there are speculations that developers might finally add them in the game on the Easter event.

A recent report stated that Legendary Pokemon might arrive through those Easter eggs. Gen 1 Legendaries include Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. All of them are bird-type Pokemon, which is why it would make sense if they can be hatched through eggs. However, keep in mind that none of these details were actually confirmed by the developers. So, take them with a grain of salt.
