One of the much-anticipated event this year on Pokemon GO is the one taking place on Easter Sunday. Although Niantic has not confirmed it yet, there are a number of speculations already floating around about what the bash would bring onto the game. So, without any further ado, here is the information you need to know about the upcoming in-game event.

It is a known fact that Niantic Labs is a real fan of the holidays. They launched numerous special events during the Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine’s day. So, it is natural for gamers to expect an in-game feast on Easter Sunday especially after the fact that the developers did not launch the St. Patrick’s day event.

Now, according to a recent report, it is pretty obvious what the event would bring. Since Easter is popularly known for its eggs, it is safe to say that some Pokemon eggs will be made available for trainers. Should that be the case, it would be best if you would collect all the eggs possible and hatch it for baby Pokemon. Through that, you will have the chance to acquire rare creatures in the game.

Also, there are speculations that the Easter event would probably be the best time for Niantic Labs to launch the Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon GO. Fans have been waiting for those creatures ever since the mobile game was released. It would definitely be a great treat to everyone if the developers would confirm the arrival of the Legendaries. But, keep in mind that it was just part of some rumors so take it with a grain of salt.

When Will Niantic Announce The Pokemon GO Easter Event?

Apparently, Niantic Labs has this habit of announcing their next event days before it actually starts. That was their way of confirming upcoming feasts like the ones that took place in November, December, and February. It is also a great way to know whether or not there will be an in-game bash in the next few days. Once the announcement was not made, it probably means it will not happen just like the case of the St. Patrick’s day non-event.

Now, with that fact at hand, confirmation of the Easter event might arrive two or three days before Easter Sunday. The actual holiday will take place on April 16. If this theory is correct, then expect the announcement from Niantic Labs to come out on April 13 or 14.

For now, the only thing to do is wait for the official confirmation from the developers about the Pokemon GO Easter event. Just keep reading those speculations online and see which of those would actually come to reality once the event starts. Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
